Healthy Hair with Honest Beauty

I am a little hard to please when it comes to hair care.  I was surprisingly not a fan of the original shampoo and conditioner that you could order in the regular Honest Co. box.  While it smelled amazing, it left my hair feeling as if I never actually washed it.  Sadness…  I was a little hesitant to try out the new hair care line from Honest Beauty because of my earlier experience, but thankfully I was able to try the products before I bought them.  Honest Beauty is now a partner with Ulta and they recently had styling sessions with the new Honest hair care line for only $15.  I am happy to report that I absolutely LOVE the Beyond Hydrated shampoo and conditioner!  Like all of the Honest products, the pair are without sulfates and other harsh chemicals.  I have been back and forth about the need for a sulfate free shampoo mostly because my hair tends to be on the oily side.  Sulfates act as a detergent, so if you have oily hair like me, a sulfate free shampoo can leave your hair with that never washed feeling I was talking about earlier.  After the styling session, I came home and my husband kept going on and on about how soft my hair was.  AND IT WAS CLEAN!  Sorry…that last part is so exciting to me.  Ever since moving to California, I have struggled to find a shampoo that works with the climate and my hair.  I had been using a volumizing shampoo and conditioner that had left my hair dry and brittle after continued use.  I love that my hair is now healthy and hydrated.  Like for real…I can’t find a split end anywhere.  Yay for happy hair!
