Why is drinking water so hard? I am one of those people who has to make a conscious effort to drink even one glass of water during the day, which is horrible. Here is the big duh statement for the day: YOUR BODY NEEDS WATER. Not getting enough water is actually a major cause for not being able to lose weight if that’s what you want. You should be getting half your body weight in ounces every day to ensure that you are sufficiently hydrated.
I would like to introduce you to my new best water-drinking friend. My new Nalgene 32oz. water bottle. I love him! Her? Irrelevant… What is relevant is that since I made the decision to drink more water on the daily, I have tried different water bottles to take with me during the day, and this is really the only one I have actually used and reached my water goals for the day with. I’m not sure if that is due to the clearly marked amounts on the side that make it easy for me to know where I’m at, or if it is due to the fact I don’t have to drink through a straw. The screw top makes it easy for me to take an actual drink of water instead of sipping throughout the day.
The bottle is also BPA free if you are concerned about that sort of thing. There is currently conflicting research as to whether or not that label is really meaningful. I will leave that for you to decide.
